The workshops are a fantastic opportunity to experience the excitement of working with molten glass and to produce your own glass creations.
The workshops explore the hot glass process of sand-casting. Where impressions are made into prepared sand, molten glass is poured onto the impressions and manipulated to create either sculptural or functional forms.
The workshops are run from a glass studio in Nottingham and are for one day (10.30 - 3.30) (with half an hour for lunch).
Workshops are available to individuals or groups (maximum of 7 people). You can expect to create approximately 3 pieces of glass, that you can take home the next day.
The cost of the workshops is £80 per person. Vouchers can also be purchased so that a place on a workshop can be given as a gift.
No previous glass experience is necessary.
